Advent & Christmas
On the four Sundays before Christmas, we celebrate the season of Advent where we anticipate Jesus’ coming at Christmas. Festive worship on Sunday mornings includes the lighting of an Advent wreath: an extra candle is lit each week to represent our drawing nearer and nearer to the light of Christ, coming at Christmas.
Through Advent, worship continues on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am every week.
Hope & Healing
An Advent Service of Hope and Healing is offered on the Thursday before Christmas Eve at 7:00 pm.
The Christmas season is not a joyous time for everyone. This “Blue Christmas” style service is a quiet opportunity for reflection and hope through the gifts of healing in the laying on of hands and communion.
All are welcome to participate in this service.
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve worship on December 24th is a joyful and festive celebration of Christ’s birth! Every year, our family service at 7:00 pm includes Christmas Carols, the story of Jesus’ birth, candlelight singing of “Silent Night,” prayers for our world, and well wishes for a Merry Christmas!
All are welcome to join in the celebration!
Christmas Day
Christmas Day on December 25th, we worship at 10:00am in celebration of Christ’s birth.
This smaller, intimate service includes the singing of Christmas Carols, communion, and a full liturgy with readings and sermon.
All are welcome to celebrate Christ’s birth and enjoy this time of simple worship together.
